É neste contexto que a “Integrity” tem feito seguimento sobre os contornos do projecto, onde se deparou com mais uma situação estranha – um tractor do projecto parqueado no recinto do Milpark hotel, no centro do distrito de Gôndola, na província de Manica.

Diante disso, questionamos: “o que um tractor do SUSTENTA está a fazer no recinto de um hotel em Gôndola?”
O facto é que os relatos sobre o projecto SUSTENTA são sempre “tenebrosos” conforme apuramos recentemente em Gaza, as autoridades a nível central anunciaram que os técnicos do projecto tinham três viaturas e nos relatórios oficiais consta esta informação, mas sucede que, tudo não passava de “historieta”, uma vez que nenhum dos técnicos chegou a ver as tais viaturas na Província.
As fontes que foram mais longe, chegaram a revelar a nossa reportagem, “que de facto o projecto chegou ao fim”, pois embora, na consulta feita pela “Integrity” se tenha dito que o projecto continua em pé, tese que tenta ser defendida com o SUSTENTA-Emergência onde os supostos agricultores são atribuídos insumos agrícolas devido aos efeitos das calamidades naturais.
No entanto, a par do SUSTENTA, está o negócio das sementes e insumos agrícolas que estão alimentar as redes corruptas do Estado moçambicano nos últimos dias, com especulações conforme garantiram fontes do sector que “o que está na moda nestes dias é negócio das sementes, onde mesmo aqueles que não são agricultores recebem seja do Ministério de Agricultura ou mesmo do Instituto Nacional de Gestão de Risco e Redução de Desastres (INGD) e tudo feito fora das normas de procurement em vigor.” (Omardine Omar et Pedro Tawanda)
