A referida campanha, que decorre desde o dia 05 de junho corrente, já efectuou até ao momento, cerca de 229 registos de nascimento, 770 pedidos para emissão de bilhetes de identidade e 615 pedidos de emissão de passaportes.
De acordo com a Directora da Conservatória de Registos Centrais da cidade de Maputo, Arlinda Nhanquila, existem cerca de 7 000 moçambicanos residentes naquele Reino, registados na Embaixada moçambicana, sendo que a meta desta campanha é de documentar cerca de 2 000 cidadãos.
Nhanquila disse ainda que no processo, os requerentes estão divididos em grupos, o primeiro dos filhos de moçambicanos nascidos no Reino de ESwatini que não tinham nenhum tipo de registo, outro daqueles que pretendem adquirir Bilhete de Identidade e aproximam a eles para a emissão de pedidos de BI, o terceiro de moçambicanos que emigraram para aquele país nos anos 80 e que não possuem nenhum tipo de documento, sendo que para este grupo têm se trabalho com os líderes comunitários locais.
Para além da cidade de Mbabane, esta campanha está sendo levada a cabo na cidade de Manzini.
