INTEGRITY-MOÇAMBIQUE, 30 de Outubro de 2022-A Rússia anunciou, este sábado, que vai suspender a sua participação no acordo alcançado em Julho com a Ucrânia e que permitiu a retoma da exportação de cereais ucranianos bloqueados nos portos do Mar Negro, devido à guerra.
Moscovo justificou a decisão com os ataques com drones a navios russos realizados na madrugada deste sábado, na Crimeia. Reagindo ao anúncio, a ONU exortou à preservação do acordo.
Em declarações, esta sexta-feira, o secretário-geral das Nações Unidas, António Guterres, já havia instado a Rússia e a Ucrânia a renovar o acordo, que termina a 19 de Novembro.
A ONU anunciou, entretanto, estar a envidar esforços para preservar o acordo, depois do anúncio da sua suspensão pela Rússia.
“É vital que todas as partes se abstenham de qualquer acção que coloque em risco o Acordo de Cereais do Mar Negro”, disse, em comunicado, o porta-voz do secretário-geral da ONU, Stéphane Dujarric, enfatizando que o acordo teve um “impacto positivo” no acesso a alimentos para milhões de pessoas em todo o mundo.
Por seu lado, a Ucrânia acusou a Rússia do “falso pretexto” do ataque na Crimeia para justificar a suspensão do acordo, pressionando Moscovo para que respeite as suas obrigações. (Diário de Notícias)
