INTEGRITY-MOÇAMBIQUE, 28 de Outubro de 2022-O Serviço Nacional de Investigação Crimina (SERNIC), deteve, esta quinta-feira na cidade da Beira, dois indivíduos de nacionalidade moçambicana e gambiana, na posse de quase seis milhões de meticais, em notas falsas.
Segundo a porta-voz do serviço Nacional de Investigação Criminal na província de Sofala, Lurdes Cuchama, as notas foram produzidas na Tanzânia e postas no mercado nacional, já há algum tempo, sem serem detectadas devido a boa qualidade gráfica.
Lurdes Cuchama, indicou que o grupo de falsificadores já há muito que vinha sendo seguido pela polícia.
“Foi um processo muito longo, o SERNIC foi acompanhando cada trajectória da quadrilha, até a sua chegada na cidade da Beira e foi possível a sua neutralização na paragem de Maquinino, onde foi aprendida esta quantia de notas falsas.
As diligências ainda estão em curso, no sentido de localizar e neutralizar os demais envolvidos neste tipo de crime”, disse Lurdes Cuchama, porta-voz do Serviço Nacional de Investigação Criminal, na província de Sofala. (RM)
