“A LAM já comprou o primeiro avião, este é um dia muito especial, o avião está em terra em Adis Abeba, Etiópia, há três ou quatro meses, já concluímos o acordo e temos o título deste avião em nossa posse”, disse Dane Kondić.
O Bombardier Q400, também conhecido como De Havilland Canada Dash 8, é um avião turboélice bimotor de curta e média distância, projectado para transportar até 78 passageiros. A aeronave é popular entre as companhias aéreas regionais. Segundo relata-se ela combina eficiência, desempenho e capacidade, sendo ideal para rotas de curta e média distância.
Dane Kondić sublinhou que esta é a primeira de muitas aeronaves que serão introduzidas na frota da LAM para devolver à empresa a dimensão que deveria ter.
Enquanto os restantes sete aviões não chegam, a LAM continuará a recorrer a aeronaves alugadas para garantir a continuidade e expansão das suas operações no país e na região. (Ekibal Seda)
