INTEGRITY-MOÇAMBIQUE, 11 de Outubro de 2022-A Missão Militar da Comunidade para o Desenvolvimento da África Austral (SAMIM) havia marcado a entrega oficialmente para esta terça-feira na cidade de Pemba, a capital da província de Cabo Delgado, Norte de Moçambique, o equipamento militar capturado dos terroristas. Entretanto, o evento acabou sendo adiado para uma data por anunciar.
Um comunicado de imprensa refere que a SAMIM, que apoia militarmente as Forças Armadas de Defesa de Moçambique (FADM), no combate ao terrorismo, levou a cabo operações militares nas suas áreas de responsabilidade em Cabo Delgado.
“O objectivo dessas operações é desmontar as actividades dos terroristas que continuam a desestabilizar a província, atacando comunidades. Durante as operações, um número considerável de equipamento militar pertencente aos terroristas foi confiscado pela força da SAMIM. Tal equipamento inclui armas e munições”, refere a nota.
