INTEGRITY-MOÇAMBIQUE, 05 de Outubro de 2022-Um esquema aparentemente elaborado ao mínimo detalhe, resultou no furto de catorze milhões de meticais, numa agência bancária, no distrito de Macanga, na província de Tete. Com o dinheiro, os indiciados lançaram-se às compras.
Carros, casas, terrenos e electrodomésticos foram comprados em curto espaço de tempo. A Miramar apurou que dos catorze milhões furtados no dia 30 de Setembro, a polícia só conseguiu recuperar um milhão de meticais.
A polícia indica que do esquema participaram seis pessoas, das quais quatro já foram detidas. Destaque para o gerente e o tesoureiro que viram também os bens supostamente comprados pelo dinheiro furtado, apreendidos.
Trabalhos prosseguem para a identificação e detenção dos últimos dois suspeitos que poderão também estar a fazer compras com dinheiro do banco. (Texto TV Miramar)
