A empresária angolana Isabel dos Santos tem agora poucas semanas para fornecer detalhes a um tribunal britânico sobre as suas propriedades em várias partes do mundo há muito rodeadas de segredo.
Isto ao abrigo de uma decisão anunciada quarta-feira, 20, pelo juiz britânico Robert Bright que concordou com um pedido da companhia angolana Unitel para congelamento de bens da empresária, numa disputa sobre alegadas dívidas de centenas de milhões de dólares à companhia.

O juiz deu um prazo até ao próximo mês para Isabel dos Santos fornecer à Unitel a lista dos seus bens, incluindo propriedades em Londres, Monaco e Dubai.
Há muito que se sabe que Isabel dos Santos possui propriedades de luxo nesses países, mas a lista pode ser maior do que aquilo que se sabe ou especula porque algumas propriedades terão sido adquiridas por companhias controladas pelas empresárias e não por ela própria.
Uma dessas propriedades é um apartamento no sexto andar do edifício “La Petite Afrique” no principado de Mónaco, uma das zonas de propriedades mais caras do mundo.
O Consórcio Internacional de Jornalistas de Investigação disse que Isabel dos Santos e o seu falecido marido, Sindika Dokolo, usaram uma companhia de fachada, Athol Limited, para comprar o apartamento que em 2020 foi avaliado em 55 milhões de dólares.
O portal de uma companhia de propriedades diz que o edifício está localizado no “coração de Monte Carlo, ao lado dos prestigiosos jardins do Le Grand Casino e a um quarteirão do Hotel de Paris e da Salle Garnier” conhecidos marcos desta cidade habitada por milionários de toda a parte do mundo.
Todos os apartamentos têm vistas para o mar mediterrâneo, e o edifício tem duas piscinas e ginásio.
Outra propriedade que Isabel dos Santos terá que detalhar é uma vivenda num dos bairros mais luxuosos de Londres, Kensigton, que há cerca de quatro anos foi palco de uma disputa com residentes da zona que se opunham a planos da empresária para escavar a propriedade para construir várias divisões subterrâneas, nomeadamente um “jacuzzi”, uma adega, um local de massagens e uma caixa forte.
O jornal britânico Daily Mail que deu esses pormenores afirmou na altura que a mansão estava avaliada em 16,5 milhões de dólares.
Mas durante as audiências em tribunal sobre o caso da Unitel, agora decidido, advogados disseram que Isabel dos Santos possui propriedades em Londres avaliadas em 42 milhões de dólares.
Nessas audiências foi também afirmado que as propriedades de Isabel dos Santos no Mónaco e Dubai estão avaliadas em 95 milhões de dólares.
No Dubai, onde vive grande parte do tempo, Isabel dos Santos é tida com proprietária de uma residência numa das ilhas artificias do território, avaliada também em dezenas de milhões de dólares.
O seu marido, Sindika Dokolo, morreu no Dubai num acidente quando efetuava mergulhos ao largo da costa. (VOA)
