Após a saída, a produção da Amstel “será eliminada gradualmente dentro de seis meses”, afirmou o grupo holandês, salientando que já havia retirado a marca Heineken da Rússia em 2022. “Nenhuma outra marca internacional será licenciada na Rússia, com exceção de uma licença de 3 anos para algumas marcas regionais menores que são necessárias para garantir a continuidade dos negócios e a aprovação da transação. A Heineken não fornecerá suporte à marca e não receberá receitas, royalties e taxas da Rússia. Não há opção de compra para retornar à Rússia”, explicou.
Apesar das perdas milionárias, a empresa afirmou que a transação “terá um impacto insignificante no lucro por ação” e que a venda não afetará as suas perspetivas para 2023. “Já concluímos a nossa saída da Rússia. Acontecimentos recentes demonstraram os desafios significativos que as grandes empresas industriais enfrentaram ao sair da Rússia. Embora tenha demorado muito mais do que esperávamos, esta transação garante a subsistência dos nossos funcionários e permite-nos deixar o país de forma responsável”, disse o CEO da Heineken.
