Depois de escapar da casa onde habita, o animal começou a perseguir crianças que brincavam na rua, sem sucesso, o cão acabou por entrar numa casa vizinha onde atacou um bebé de 11 meses.
A mãe do bebé gritou por socorro e os vizinhos tentaram acudir, mas o cão feroz mordeu uma das mulheres que tentava socorrer a criança atacada.
Ferido, o bebé foi de imediato levado ao hospital, mas infelizmente chegou sem vida à unidade sanitária.
A família do menor está inconsolável e contou à Miramar que estava a preparar a festa do primeiro aniversário da criança que seria celebrado na próxima segunda-feira (26.06).
Este não é o primeiro caso onde um cão feroz faz uma vítima mortal em Maputo, há meses a Miramar noticiou o ataque mortal de cães da raça dogo argentino e bulldog americano contra um cidadão no Intaka. (TV MIRAMAR)
