A realização do evento da final em Maputo, que terá lugar no CCFM – Centro Cultural Franco-Moçambicano, constitui uma réplica de outros que irão acontecer em outras cidades a nível mundial, no quadro de uma iniciativa lançada pelo Grupo Heineken, sediado em Amesterdão, nos Países Baixos. Muita emoção e entretenimento, é o que se espera deste evento.
A Liga dos Campeões está na recta final. Manchester City e Inter de Milão são os grandes finalistas que vão disputar o tão cobiçado troféu.
Para garantir o acesso à final, os ingleses do Manchester City eliminaram os espanhóis do Real Madrid (actual detentor do troféu) e o Inter de Milão deixou para trás o seu eterno rival, o Associazione Calcio Milan (Ac Milan).
Disputada pelas equipas europeias bem classificadas a nível dos seus respectivos campeonatos nacionais na época anterior, a Liga dos Campeões é das competições mais prestigiadas a nível mundial.
