É que quando chega o período de recenseamento eleitoral há relatos vindos de quase todo o país, segundo os quais os secretários dos bairros de forma “clandestina” vão exigindo cartões de cidadãos e por sua vez extraem os números de eleitores para fins que nem os visados entendem.
Entretanto, para Tomás Chitlango, se o cidadão já recenseou-se e regista o seu número do cartão é para a FRELIMO saber se vai contar com quantos votantes nas eleições, aliás é uma modalidade que pode ser seguida pela outras formações políticas.
“Os outros partidos não podem se alarmar porque os nossos secretários do partido e do nosso governo estão a pedir cartões de eleitores, se eles fazem isso, querem controlar o nosso eleitorado e saber quem de verdade vai votar em nós, no entanto outros partidos não estão proibidos de seguir o exemplo“, disse Chitlango que falava à jornalistas quando se justificava sobre o envolvimento da FRELIMO nos ilícitos eleitorais durante o processo de recenseamento eleitoral em curso no país, uma acusação feita pelos partidos políticos da oposição.
