Segundo a Gestora de Comunicação e Imagem da Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Porto de Maputo, para além do investimento registado no período em análise, o volume da carga manuseada subiu de 5 milhões, de 2003, para 26.7 milhões, em 2022, o que representa um crescimento em mais de 500 por cento.
Soraia Abdul falava no Café da Manhã da Rádio Moçambique, sobre os desafios e avanços registados no Porto de Maputo, nos últimos 20 anos.
Segundo a fonte, nas últimas duas décadas, o Porto de Maputo tem sido um lugar preferencial, ao nível dos países da região da SADC.
A Gestora de Comunicação e Imagem da Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Porto de Maputo falou, igualmente, do Plano-Director em curso naquela entidade.
Soraia Abdula sublinhou que o Porto de Maputo prevê, para este ano, manusear cerca de 30 milhões de toneladas de carga diversa. (RM)
