O administrador de Manica, Noé Lázaro, exorta os garimpeiros que operam na região a suspender o garimpo, como forma de salvaguardar a integridade dos trabalhadores.
Nos últimos dois meses duas pessoas morreram devido ao desabamento e deslizamento de terra nas minas de Maridza, no posto administrativo de Machipanda, por conta da queda de chuva.
“Devemos cuidar muito da nossa vida. A vida nunca mais se recupera quando vai embora “, disse.
O dirigente recordou que o ano passado, quatro pessoas morreram devido ao desabamento de minas e acções de sensibilização aos garimpeiros continuam, visando estancar pequenos focos de garimpeiros em actividade. (RM)
